ABSTRACT

During this information age, every sector is generating massive data on daily basis and this data is to be stored so that the storage entities possess vital characteristics such as availability, integrity, authenticity, and offering secure, confidential, simple, and fast retrieval. Right from the file systems, the storage architecture evolved to today's hybrid cloud and maybe tomorrow's quantum cloud to meet the prevailing customized requirements. Cloud computing is a legendary technology that is necessary for all business segments in terms of efficient data storage needs. It is more beneficial to those organizations which cannot afford much on the computing infrastructure to avail of various major cloud services like IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and other supplementary ones. Cloud technology has drastically modulated the service and industrial sectors to an extent that cyber attackers are relying much more to capitalize on even miniature leaks despite the exhaustive security measures. The technology took its shape in offering various types like Public, Private, Hybrid, Multi and Multi-Hybrid clouds. Every technology is a threat prone not leaving cloud-related as an exception. Due to Covid 19 pandemic, the Health segment is revolutionized in which enormous data is generated worldwide. Not only in the health domain but also in various sectors the data is generated at a rapid speed. Whichever the industry, the data is to be immensely protected. In this research fragment, we are intended to design novel security architecture for a multi-cloud environment applied to Electronic Health Records (EHR) and analyze it's working. © 2022 Little Lion Scientific.

ABSTRACT

Background & objectives: The COVID-19 disease profile in Indian patients has been found to be different from the Western world. Changes in lymphocyte compartment have been correlated with disease course, illness severity and clinical outcome. This study was aimed to assess the peripheral lymphocyte phenotype and subset distribution in patients with COVID-19 disease from India with differential clinical manifestations. Methods: Percentages of peripheral lymphocyte subsets were measured by flow cytometry in hospitalized asymptomatic (n=53), mild symptomatic (n=36), moderate and severe (n=30) patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection, recovered individuals (n=40) and uninfected controls (n=56) from Pune, Maharashtra, India. Results: Percentages of CD4+Th cells were significantly high in asymptomatic, mild symptomatic, moderate and severe patients and recovered individuals compared to controls. Percentages of Th memory (CD3+CD4+CD45RO+), Tc memory (CD3+CD8+CD45RO+) and B memory (CD19+CD27+) cells were significantly higher in the recovered group compared to both asymptomatic, mild symptomatic patient and uninfected control groups. NK cell (CD56+CD3-) percentages were comparable among moderate +severe patient and uninfected control groups. Interpretation & conclusions: The observed lower CD4+Th cells in moderate+severe group requiring oxygen support compared to asymptomatic+mild symptomatic group not requiring oxygen support could be indicative of poor prognosis. Higher Th memory, Tc memory and B memory cells in the recovered group compared to mild symptomatic patient groups might be markers of recovery from mild infection; however, it remains to be established if the persistence of any of these cells could be considered as a correlate of protection.

ABSTRACT

The revenue and economy of the country in the past years significantly depend on tourism. The hotel sector's role is even more prominent in tourism. The plans and decisions of tours of users can be recommended with the collaboration of E-commerce and hotel management. The traveling proportion of the population is getting minor over the months due to the worst impact of COVID-19. Thus not just the tourism, the hotel sector is also in vain in terms of revenue. Users' past experiences and opinions help boost their satisfaction levels by providing recommendations and retaining them. The present scenario and stats prove that the selection and decision of hotels have enormous support on user reviews. This research article tries to find and analyze the various aspects that contribute more towards the gratification levels of users in Indian top tourism city hotels listed by the Master and VISA Inc survey. This survey focuses on the item-item collaborative filtering and regression techniques based on TripAdvisor reviews of recent times. Once the dimensions are known, it helps in improving them and thus even enhances the ratings of Asian continental hotel management. This study proves that the online travel platform helps obtain reviews from users to maintain the travel recommender systems. © The Electrochemical Society

ABSTRACT

Currently, the world is witnessing the pandemic of COVID-19, a disease caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. Reported differences in clinical manifestations and outcomes in SARS-CoV-2 infection could be attributed to factors such as virus replication, infiltration of inflammatory cells, and altered cytokine production. Virus-induced aberrant and excessive cytokine production has been linked to the morbidity and mortality of several viral infections. Using a Luminex platform, we investigated plasma cytokine and chemokine levels of 27 analytes from hospitalized asymptomatic (n = 39) and mildly symptomatic (n = 35) SARS-CoV-2-infected patients (in the early phase of infection), recovered individuals (45-60 days postinfection) (n = 40), and uninfected controls (n = 36) from the city of Pune located in the state of Maharashtra in India. Levels of the pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-1ß, IL-6, and TNF-α and the chemokine CXCL-10 were significantly higher, while those of the antiviral cytokines IFN-γ and IL-12 p70 were significantly lower in both asymptomatic and mildly symptomatic patients than in controls. Comparison among the patient categories revealed no difference in the levels of the cytokines/chemokines except for CXCL-10 being significantly higher and IL-17, IL-4, and VEGF being significantly lower in the mildly symptomatic patients. Interestingly, levels of all key analytes were significantly lower in recovered individuals than in those in both patient categories. Nevertheless, the level of CXCL10 was significantly higher in the recovered patients than in the controls, indicating that the immune system of SARS-CoV-2 patients may take a longer time to normalize. Our data suggest that IL-6, IL-1ß, TNF-α, CXCL-10, and reduced antiviral cytokines could be used as biomarkers of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

ABSTRACT

An unanticipated outburst of pneumonia of inexperienced aetiology in Wuhan, Hubei, China stated in December 2019. World health organization has recog-nized pathogen and termed it COVID-19. COVID-19 turned out to be a severe urgency in the entire world. The influence of this viral syndrome is now an intensifying concern. Covid-19 has changed our mutual calculus of ambigu-ity. It is more world-wide in possibility, more deeply impactful, and much more difficult than any catastrophe that countries and organizations have ever faced. The next normal requires challenging ambiguity head-on and building it into decision-making. It is examined that every entity involved in running supply chains would require to go through major compliances as employee, prod-uct, facility sanitization protocols, and transport would have to be in place. It is an urgent need of structuring to apply the lessons well-read for our supply chain setup. With higher managers now being aware of the intrinsic hazards in their supply chain, key take-aways and suggestions-recommendations will help to guide leader to commit to a newly planned, more consistent supply chain setup. Besides, the employees’ mental health is also a great concern.
